q u i c k d e s c r i p t i o n,
Rich chestnut tom with a long stride and bold, clover eyes.

a p p e a r a n c e,

Long, striding streaks of golden sheers like a curtain of the sun encompasses his inner pelt, forming rich barriers between the other multitudes of color that surround. Ribbons of deep chocolate brown intertwine into the rest of this fur, drowning his entire pelt in an array of warmth and irony. His fur has a certain ruffle that is naturally masculine and distinguishes him from other cats. He has a long streak of powder white fur that stretches across the middle of his chest like morning frost from the ocean. Other parts of his pelt are mixed colors, such as a oak honey, to other forms that play like rust upon the china blue sky.

He has a long, tall stride, and his shadow moves across like the image of a hawk swooping down - it's heavy, yet light and balanced, as if to break a step would ruin the melodic swoon that his paws make when they sweep across the soft, majestic emerald grass that is SunsetClan. Now, from all of this it's easy to receive the impression that all of his other bdy features are perfect in stance and in reason. Well, that isn't exactly how it is. All cats have flaws, and Twinklestar's imparticular make him one of the more renown cats. His backside is more extended that the rest - a something thast isn't paid attention to at the obvious degree, but stil, it's there, not something however, it's not something major in detail. His tail is long and graceful, however, that's not a word that probably should be used to describe something this important. His tail consists of shades like coffee, and the awe-striking amber that is rarely seen within his family heritage at all.

Although these fancy phenomenal clashes of colors have collodied with his other colors in a way that wouldn't be suitable, Twinklestar rather likes his ruffled, uncombed fur that seems to glidem twith confidence unsheathed. The tom prefers to be simple in hs body movements, he hates being too conservative, and yet, somehiow, he isn't as athletic as he should be. Even though his lean and muscularity seems to broaden the questions even further. Onto something more delicate now, a place where even the dark shield of night expresses a form of silver glimmer onto. Twinklestar's face. A crucial part of his everday life - something that expresses his emotions and his eyes - so much to be seen, to be told.

Twinklestar has an average head shape, there's nothing particularly special or different that could be of use in explaining. The rich, deep browns and hues that pattern so wonderfully on his pelt adorn his cheeks, imprinting two great black streaks on his cheeks. The rest of his face, however, is a more chestnut brown if any. He has many streaks, come to think of it, in manyon his face. His chin, left as the boundary, has a vague color that seems to match with his white chest, however, it's a shade below. Not as bold or defnining. His ears are average as well, but ehye're shape is pointed and entertaining, and one ear seems to be abonormally larger than the other. Nothing to fret about, however, because when revealing his eyes all of the flaws and mishaps seem to fade away with the drop in temperature. When looking into Twinklestar's eyes, one experiences something unlike anything ever. Imagine the deep, vast tundra of Anarctica, with its assymetrical landscape and pointed peaks - imagine the sky, with it's infinitive aurora of blue and the colors - oh, the colors. Well Twinklestar's eyes are much more interesting than this.

Twinklestar's eyes, to start anew, are like a deep meadow of blistering divine repituars and discoveries. They are full of possibilities to grand to imagine. Although most of the time they are worn from the stress and burden of being leader, most of the time they are bright and wise, in one instant the moon and the sun collide in his gaze. Sunlight, along with the lake's silver reflection seem to dance playfully within. All kinds of green plants can be compared within his gaze, however, he prefers fauna blue. The clover flower, with all four leaves represents luck and especially the green texture seems to drown within the glory of it all. Constellations form within the love and crystal illuminaton that all cats seem to cower at.

p e r s o n a l i t y,

To be explained simply, but not, Twinklestar is lenient within a distance – he isn’t as strict as those rule-abiding cats, but not so easy that he’d just roll over and let you walk all over him. When it comes to the rules, he’s not one to be careless, but then again – the importance isn’t over the bar. The warrior code, however, is a different matter. It’s to be taken much more seriously than day-to-day rules that slip his mind. The warrior code was written in stone for the purpose that it isn’t forgotten. So when it comes to that, he’s dead serious. There is no beating around the bush or pretending like they don’t exist – it won’t work on him. Twinklestar respects all cats, but when it comes to this, he doesn’t forget so easily. And although most might make the tom out to be caring about some subjects, and in others not – he’s very complex, so describing him further than need be isn’t necessary.

Twinklestar is also very considerate. Male cats of his time are egotistical, tending to care about certain aspects that further benefit them along the way; well, Twinklestar could think less of them. No matter the situation, Twinklestar is always there to help out, to be of assistance. It’s not so much of impressing others; more the concept of being there for another that really makes it worthwhile. He isn’t in anything to be judged negatively or positively, but because it makes a different among the Clan. Being leader for him wasn’t about getting all of the attention, or being the center of attention, but being able to keep the Clan in line, to create something new and to challenge his abilities as leader. That’s what is so important to him – being able to step up and take charge for once, mainly because he likes to be in control.

When it comes to emotions, his personality can become much more diverse than expected. Twinklestar can conceal his feelings easily, but over a time period, he can’t help but break. He isn’t emotional, really, at all, mainly because he had to become very independent after his father’s death. He isn’t completely unaware of his surroundings, however – he’s capable of releasing feelings without trouble, but his thoughts change depending on the situation. He’s also very confident and capable – he loves being in charge and isn’t afraid to be authorative or strict. Ever since he was a kit he’s been the type to be told, not to tell – and now he knows what it feels like, and that’s something that distinguishes from the rest.

Believe it or not, Twinklestar loves being challenged. He might not show it on the outside at first, because taking something all at once is hard, but when it starts to actually hit him, being put in his place is sometimes a good thing. He also hates being taken too seriously – sometimes he can’t resist a bit of humor in the conversation, just to loosen things up, but when others can’t understand something simple, he can get frustrated, not to mention impatient. He can wait for over a certain time for an answer, but being patient isn’t one of his best skills. He isn’t pushy or demanding, but being such a prominent figure takes a toll on some cats. But for Twinklestar, it hasn’t seemed to kick in just yet.

As it’s expected, he’s very social, not liking to keep to himself for long. He’s always in conversation and is always active and moving. He can’t stand being still or not doing anything – it’s just how he is. Sometimes he can be overly enthusiastic and energetic – but he doesn’t let it get in the way of being serious. He’s perfectly capable of holding the two expressions. When it comes to relationships, Twinklestar can be very committed, but since that hasn’t happened, he’s not exactly ready to start. He knows that relationships take a lot of work, and right now, he can’t commit to anything because he’s in the middle of leading the Clan. He knows it’d be too difficult to balance his relationship, although he can never exactly forget about his past relationships, or how they effected him, he knows they made him who he is.

There’s no turning back now

h i s t o r y,

Her name was Ambertouch, and she was a young, but pretty she-cat of thirty-two moons. As young as she was, queens were much needed to balance out the Clan numbers. Emphasizing the meaning in her name, the she-cat was a golden tabby she-cat with a splotched pelt. Although for the young she-cat this was all new, she wasn’t at all inexperienced with this sort of thing. Her mother, Flashmorning, was also young when she birthed Ambertouch, so Ambertouch was familiar with passing on the tradition as an apprentice and so on. Of course there was nothing that bothered Ambertouch more than pressure. Her entire life she had been pushed to become something she wasn’t – to fall in love at a young age, to become a mother without even the faintest idea who she was anymore.

She wished her feelings didn’t have to become a part of her anymore, she just hoped, somehow, that her nerves could somehow just drift away. But that was the problem within it all – it wasn’t. Ambertouch’s father never seemed to understand either; he was too caught up in his own needs to come forward and take charge. It seemed as if Ambertouch had it all figured out – her mother, her father, and everywhere in between. But she was far away from being ready to have kits. But at that point, it was too late. All her life her parents expected a vibrant queen, who left nothing but a trail of warmth and joy to the Clan. But everything in that time frame was pathetic and completely sour from her point of view. And all Ambertouch wanted to escape from it all – and so she did, at least, tried.

He was an older tom at the age of forty moons. Scatterbreeze was a brown tabby tom with green eyes. He was gentle, secure, and above all, non-existent to Ambertouch. She was too busy stressing about her family issues to notice the real picture. Scatterbreeze had known her ever since she was a kit – their mother and father had relations and somehow they were tied together. Scatterbreeze had always comforted her, was the one that cared for her, and made sure she didn’t go completely crazy. But it was too late for sanity at this point. Ambertouch had lost it with everyone. She was tired of being treated like some puppet that didn’t exist. It was time for her to make her own destiny, instead of her parents writing it for her.

They tried to talk her out of leaving, of going on some riot, but there was really nothing they could do. The damage had been caused, and Ambertouch wasn’t going to sit around like some petty she-cat waiting to be put on a pedestal. Scatterbreeze loved her, sure, but he was almost positive he couldn’t do anything for her. No matter how much he tried to make her feel the same, it wasn’t going to happen. Ambertouch had her own feelings, and her actions spoke clearly. She wanted nothing to do with SunsetClan and her parents. Of course, eventually, some sense made its way into her mind, and her parents changed their minds. Ambertouch was no longer being forced to go into a relationship, or to become something she wasn’t. She was free to make up her mind and go about where she pleased, without being judged on it.

Although time never changed the fact that Scatterbreeze would always love her, something inside of her did. Sure, she never actually considered Scatterbreeze as that special cat that she would one day come to love, but as she thought about it, she had feelings for him, actual feelings that she didn’t know how to control. Her entire life she replaced them with the denial and hurt of her parents’ needs, and never hers. But at this point, her emotions were obvious and couldn’t exactly be helped no matter how hard she tried. She loved him – she actually loved him. It was a strong word for her, and something that she never imagined, in her wildest dreams, she could say about anyone in SunsetClan – until now.

But as much as she wanted to admit the truth to him, to come forward and have the power to say something, she knew it would do no use. Scatterbreeze had moved on – after realizing the she-cat of his dreams would never come to love him, he gave up. But the faint flicker of love and interest never actually seemed to falter when he looked at Ambertouch, not even once. But now that Rainwalk had come into the picture, each day his love seemed to be less obvious for the she-cat, and knowing that his relations with Rainwalk had suddenly changed his outlook, Ambertouch was crushed. She would’ve given up completely if it wasn’t for that one night, and that one moment that changed everything.

----------------------------------------

The night’s breeze was soft and as delicate as the light frost that danced in the air. Scatterbreeze had gone on a quick run, to think everything through. It was almost unbelievable that Ambertouch could’ve changed his mind, just being there, but somehow, she did. “Scatterbreeze? What are you doing out here?” the she-cat asked, shivering for a moment before regaining her stance.

“I should ask you the same. You shouldn’t be out here, you know. You could freeze to death.” The tom replied, his deep green eyes avoiding her golden gaze.

“You’d probably want that, seeing the way I treated you.” She added, her voice slightly dropping a measure to emphasize her hurt.

“How could you even think for a second I would want that? You know how I felt about you.” He meowed, slightly turning away from the warmth that her presence seemed to bring.

“I wish I wasn’t so caught up in everything to realize it too late. If only I didn’t keep pushing you away…I’m sure you think I’m completely messed up in every way. And why am I even talking to you now…you probably don’t want anything to do with me…” she whispered, silver moon reflected tears streaming lightly onto her face.

“Don’t do this to me now. I’ll always love you…and for the longest time I wanted to tell you, but you never seemed to care…eventually I just gave up. I thought you had too.” Scatterbreeze murmured, the words were scarcely heard at first, but grew stronger.

“I love you too – but I just don’t think it matters now. Nothing does as long as you’ve changed your mind about me. I’m just another she-cat in your mind now.” As much as Ambertouch wanted to leave, at that moment, all she wanted to do was run away forever, but instead, she leaned into his comforting scent, and fell asleep.

She was nudged softly on the shoulder, and the aroma of fresh-kill filled her nostrils. “Scatterbreeze?” she meowed in a hoarse whisper. “You should really get something to eat. You look famished.” He meowed, pushing the mouse toward her. “Thanks…but shouldn’t you be with Rainwalk? She’s going to be surprised you aren’t by her side when she wakes up…”

“I don’t think Rainwalk will mind if I’m with you. Besides, I don’t love her…” and those words temporarily stunned her, making her want nothing but to be with Scatterbreeze. And it wasn’t long until that dream actually came true. Scatterbreeze ended his relationship with Rainwalk, and Ambertouch had never felt happier or more relieved when she saw Scatterbreeze. It was like her entire life depended on that one moment. A few moons later, Ambertouch birthed three healthy kits. Twinklekit, the ambiguous young tom that looked exactly like his father, Illusionkit was the second kit to be born, and she was a pretty, but shy little she-kit that had translucent golden eyes like her mother. And lastly, Wavekit, the youngest, but certainly not one to be invisible within a crowd – he had a wide range of vocals, and was very effusive.

The three kits had a normal kithood, and each of the three received mentors, Twinklekit being the first, when hitting the age of six moons. Twinklekit learned quickly, and he was always somewhat more willing to learn than his siblings. Illusionkit, however, was slightly different. She preferred being the one teaching, compared to the one learning. And Wavekit was full of smart remarks, liking to give his point of view and stick with it. Nonetheless, through many issues within the process of training, the siblings’ knowledge grew stronger, and soon, they became warriors.

Illusionkit became Illusionsky, and had kits early on. But unfortunately for the she-cat, the punishment was worse than expected. Illusionsky died that night, from loss of countless amounts of blood. Twinklekit grew into a strict, gentle tom, and earned the warrior name of Twinkledust. Wavekit became Wavecrash, and although his nature stayed the same, he matured after his sister’s death, becoming more independent with his emotions. One day, while on a hunting patrol, a badger attacked the party. Wavecrash served as the decoy, and told the others to go to camp and get help while he fought the badger off. However, when the party reached the border, Wavecrash was badly injured, and died only a few days afterward. Everything hit Twinkledust hard, everything happened so quickly; it was hard to sum it up into words.

Twinkledust’s parents were late into their moons when the news was heard of Wavecrash’s death. Ambertouch was weak, and after surviving the early spread of Greencough, she could hardly carry the burden of her kit’s deaths. Scatterbreeze, however, stood strong despite his mate’s death – he supported Twinkledust and his willingness to want order within SunsetClan. And he wasn’t wrong when he spoke those words that night before he died – something that changed Twinkledust’s outlook, and made him so much more capable of handing death.

“Twinkledust...” the old tom meowed faintly; heaving great sighs within trying to breathe.

“I’m sorry…first Ambertouch, and now you. I don’t know how I’m going to stand it.” Twinkledust meowed, his rich green eyes twinkling in sadness.

“Don’t you ever. Ever. Say you’re sorry. Overcoming death only makes you stronger. Never weaker.” Scatterbreeze meowed, his eyes turning toward Twinkledust’s in admiration.

Twinkledust nodded, letting Scatterbreeze lean on his shoulder for support.

“But isn’t there something the medicine cat can do? I can’t just let you die like this…”

Scatterbreeze gave a half-smile that seemed to hurt him deeply, but still, the love he had for Twinkledust was evident.

“I want you to promise me something.” Scatterbreeze meowed, and although his voice was shallow, it was still prominent.

“Anything.” Twinkledust meowed, swallowing hard at the thought of this being the last memory of his father.

“Never give up. No matter how much something keeps you down, just move forward. Taking two steps back only hurts your chances even more.” He meowed, now going into a severe coughing fit.

Twinkledust gave him a firm look, mixed with a sympathy that deeply showed his feelings for his father.

“I promise.” He whispered, nudging his father softly.

And it was as if Twinkledust saw his father’s entire life flash in his eyes, and not long after, Scatterbreeze heaved his last, calm breath, and went to StarClan.

The hurt in the tom’s eyes was obvious as he gave his father one last look before leaving the den.

----------------------------------------

And he never did forget those words. Even after everything, they stayed in his mind and he continued to work his way up to becoming a great warrior, one that the Clan respected and followed. Twinkledust was close friends with SunsetClan’s deputy, Fatalspring. They shared many of the same views and perspectives, and Twinkledust learned many new ideas, experiences, and vice-versa. Although Twinkledust was twenty-five moons at that point, and he still had much to learn, he had a great mentor.

Fatalspring, although he had a mate and kits, and many cats that supported him as deputy, he wasn’t the best tom in the past, and he was afraid if his past was revealed, he would be judged, and the position would be taken away from him. So, he resigned as deputy, and although he was fully aware Twinkledust was very young to take on such a high position, he had been mentoring him for a reason: to take his place as deputy, and eventually, leader of SunsetClan. Twinkledust was shocked – he hadn’t expected Fatalspring to resign, much less, choose him as the next deputy.

And even though he wasn’t aware of it yet, Twinkledust had been an influence in the Clan from early on, including his parents, who made a name for themselves; and Fatalspring was positive he hadn’t gone wrong on this. The leader, although he was somewhat surprised and nervous that a warrior so young would take on the deputy position, he still had faith, and Twinkledust proved that he was trustworthy, flexible, and dependable. At fifty-seven moons, Whitestar was getting old in carrying the leader position, but he felt as if Twinkledust needed to prove himself more to take on his position.

A small battle between SunsetClan and EveningClan rose, and Whitestar was badly wounded, and Twinkledust took it upon himself to protect the leader, so he battled about four cats at once. He was scratched, beaten, and endured the pain to protect Whitestar. The leader was taken back to SunsetClan headquarters, and after his recovery, announced Twinkledust to take on the new position of leader as soon as possible. A few moons later, Twinkledust became Twinklestar, possibly the youngest cat of the reigning leaders to take on such a high position. And he’s been fair, calm, but commanding, he was the leader they’d all been waiting for. And he’s continued to be a figure of sophistication no matter his age.
